The Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church offers the wonderful opportunity of a Deaf Ministry. We have a children’s Sunday school class called “The Talking Hands” that caters to children every Sunday morning during the Sunday school hour. We also have an adult class for the deaf and hard of hearing called “The Soaring Eagles Class.” Bro. Ken Davis directs our Deaf Ministry and loves the deaf people with a pure heart. All of our public services are interpreted for the deaf. We also have activities for the deaf ministry throughout the year. All events and activities are interpreted for the deaf; therefore, they are encouraged to attend. Everyone deserves to hear the Gospel preached and taught in their own language, and so our Deaf Ministry tries to meet that need by providing interpreters. We currently have an instructional course for those wanting to learn American Sign Language. Here, at the Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church, the deaf and hard of hearing are an important part of our church.
